Kenna earned a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from San Francisco State University, where he plans to return in the fall to work towards an MFA in creative writing. He pursued acting during his time in the United States Navy, and after receiving high honors for his performance in the Ship’s Command Holiday Play, his Navy Captain jokingly (but not really) gave him direct orders to continue acting in college and as a career. Therefore, Kenna joins San Francisco Playhouse for the first time on military orders. He has performed in productions including Dealing Dreams by Jeffrey Lo and Stupid Fucking Bird by Aaron Posner at San Francisco State University. When not acting, Kenna serves as a substitute teacher for the West Contra Costa School District and as a table games card dealer at Napa Valley Casino.
