Alison Whismore

Alison Whismore is honoured and delighted to be part of this production of Heroes of the Fourth Turning. She looks forward to the pertinent discussions the play provokes.  Before immigrating to the U.S. in 2010, Alison toured extensively in France, specializing in interactive theatre. Some Bay Area credits include Church and Transfers at Crowded Fire Theater and the World Premiere of This Side of Crazy by Del Shores at NCTC.  Other local credits: Measure for Measure with Theatre Lunatico, The Tempest and Persuasion at Livermore Shakespeare Festival, Cinderella with African American Shakespeare Company, Boeing, Boeing at Ross Valley Players, Romeo & Juliet and Hamlet, both with SF Shakespeare Festival’s tours. During lockdown in 2020, Alison launched Sure Voices at www.surevoices.com, coaching voice for business in a virtual world and is preparing a home studio to launch into Voice Over work.  She is a facilitator with Exec|Comm, a communication consultancy firm based out of New York. Alison holds a BA Honours in Drama from Manchester University, UK, and trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London. www.alisonwhismore.com
