Jose (he, him) is very excited to make his San Francisco Playhouse debut! Jose graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York. Favorite credits include the role of Shrek in Shrek The Musical, Usnavi in In the Heights, and Fred Casely in Chicago (CMT San Jose), Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde (Pied Piper Players), Chino in West Side Story (Hillbarn Theatre), and Richard Bailey in Kinky Boots (Berkeley Playhouse). Last summer, Jose originated the role of Kris in Come See About Me, a new musical created by Broadway performers Donald Jones Jr. and Brandon Kelly, at Cedar Point in Sandusky. @josegallentes
