Safety Protocols at San Francisco Playhouse

The health and safety of our patrons, performers, crew, and staff is our top priority.

GUIDELINES

San Francisco Playhouse continues to follow the advice and guidelines of The City and County of San Francisco, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Our COVID and General Infection Control Policies are subject to change based on this advice and guidelines. We recommend checking the latest entry requirements for our theatre one week prior to your scheduled performance.

Vaccination. All San Francisco Playhouse staff and artists are fully vaccinated. Performers will be unmasked during the performance. We no longer require patrons to show proof of vaccination or a negative test to attend our performances.

Masks. Masks are optional in our theatre*.  We will be evaluating and updating this protocol in accordance with the CDC COVID-19 Community Level by County and the COVD Act Now Community Risk Level, which currently rate the community risk for Covid in San Francisco as Low. We recommend checking back for updates before arriving at the theatre.

*Currently, masks are required in the auditorium for 8pm performances on the first Friday of each month.

Ticket Sales. Advance ticket purchases are recommended and available here. Print at home or download your e-ticket to your phone.

Concessions. Concessions are available for purchase. Patrons are allowed to consume purchased items inside of the theatre.

Download the Playbill. A digital playbill will be available for each production by the first performance at sfplayhouse.org/playbill. Additionally, printed playbills will be available at the theatre for each performance.

Please self-assess your health before leaving home. By entering the building, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and answered “no” to all these questions.

  • Within the past 10 days, have you been diagnosed with, or tested positive for, COVID-19?
  • In the past 10-14 days, have you had close contact with anyone who has COVID-19, during their contagious period?
  • In the last 24 hours, including today, have you had any of the symptoms below, that is new or not explained by another condition?
  • A cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing?
  • A fever of 100.4°F/38°C or higher?
  • Chills, fatigue, or muscle and body aches?
  • Headache or a sore throat?
  • A persistent runny nose?
  • Diarrhea?
  • A sudden loss of taste or smell?

If so, please DO NOT ATTEND and call us for exchange/refund options.
