Michael Champlin

Michael (he, him) is in his first production with San Francisco Playhouse. He has been an actor and director in the South Bay for the past fifteen years. Favorite roles include Davide in In Every Generation (TheatreWorks Silicon Valley), Thom Pain in Thom Pain (based on nothing) (Los Altos Stage Company), and Torvald in A Doll’s House, Part 2 (Palo Alto Players), for which he received a 2022 San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle award for Principal Performance – Drama (300+ seats). Michael is proud to have performed as characters that share the names of his sons, Jack in Dead Accounts (Dragon Productions) and Henry in The Real Thing (Pear Theatre), and to have met his wife, Katie, in a production of Northanger Abbey (Pear Theatre). champlinacts.com
