Frederick Winthrop

Frederick (he, him, his) is a stage director and operatic tenor. He was the general director of San Francisco Lyric Opera, Golden West Opera, and Verismo Opera, and is currently the artistic director of the California Lyric Artists Association. Frederick has produced over one-hundred-thirty operas and has sung in excess of one hundred operatic roles on the opera stage, including leading roles in Carmen, Otello, Il Trovatore, Tosca, Madam Butterfly, and Rigoletto.
