Erin Anderson is an actor based in New York City and is thrilled to make her San Francisco stage debut at SF Playhouse. Recent New York/Off-Broadway: The Climb at Cherry Lane Theatre; Hecate in Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More (McKittrick Hotel); MJ Kaufman’s Eat And You Belong To Us for the Pride Plays festival at Rattlestick Theater; Noor Theatre’s 48 Hour Forum; Cassius in Julius Caesar (Gallery Players, Brooklyn); New York Theater Workshop (The Daughters – workshop); Atlantic Theater Company MixFest (Falling Down the Stairs by Mona Mansour & Tala Manassah – workshop). Regional: Unseen (by Mona Mansour – original workshops at the Old Globe, Geva Theater Center); NY Stage and Film, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Mark Taper Forum, South Coast Repertory, and also in LA: The Actors’ Gang, & the West coast premiere of Jackie Sibblies Drury’s We Are Proud to Present… at the Matrix Theater. She has been part of the development of new plays in NYC and beyond, including the O’Neill Playwrights Conference, New Dramatists, The Lark and NY Stage & Film. TV: Blacklist Redemption; Bull; The Mysteries of Laura; Kittens in a Cage; Justified; Southland. Film: The Living Worst (also co-wrote & co-produced, premiered at New York Indie Theatre Film Festival 2019); Days Together (Best Actress, Best Narrative Feature – Virginia Film Festival). She holds a BFA from the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts. She is also a Teaching Artist with Ping Chong & Company and Community-Word Project in New York. Erin is originally from LA but her family roots are in San Francisco. Go Giants.
