A native of Australia, Matthew is thrilled to be making his US theatre debut with San Francisco Playhouse. His artistic philosophy grounds itself in the assurance that art is transformative – changing bad days to good, negative to positive, and constrictive ideas to open ones. Matthew trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (Sydney), American Academy of Dramatic Arts (New York), Pineapple Studios (London), and ED5 International (Sydney). Theatre credits include Mike in Cherry Docs (Promenade Theatre), Andy Lee in 42nd Street (Drury Lane) Eddie in Funny Girl (Capitol Theatre TMW), national tours of Shake Rattle & Roll and Cloudland, and Shoot/Get Treasure/ Repeat (NIDA Theatres). Film and television credit include Love Changes Everything, The Battle of Baktan Cross, Armed and Dangerous, and Because of Ava. “Enjoy the show, what a pleasure it has been.”
