River (they, them) is thrilled to be returning to San Francisco Playhouse after performing in the ensemble of Evita last summer. They are a multi-disciplinary theatre professional with credits from companies around the Bay Area including Golden Thread Productions, San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Company, and Hillbarn Theatre & Conservatory. Recent performing work includes Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar (Berkeley Playhouse), Peter Pan (Panto in the Presidio), and The Rocky Horror Show (Ray of Light Theatre). When not onstage, they can be found working as the operations manager for local contemporary dance company FACT/SF, or tending to their tomato plants. They are deeply invested in creating work that challenges white supremacy culture in content and process. @_riverberate_
