Phil (he, him, his) is a multi-hyphenate artist from Oakland, aka xučyun – the unceded ancestral lands of the Chochenyo-speaking Ohlone People. Recent regional credits include Louis in Revenge Song and understudying the role of Stephano in The Tempest at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He was also recently a guest artist with the Tony-award winning national tour of Freestyle Love Supreme. Local credits include work with American Conservatory Theater, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, California Shakespeare Theater, the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Z Space, Word for Word Performing Arts Company, Shotgun Players, Bay Area Children’s Theatre, EXIT Theatre, Lamplighters Music Theatre, Killing My Lobster, Hillbarn Theatre, Los Altos Stage Company, Palo Alto Players, and Ray of Light Theatre. Phil is a graduate of Oberlin College and received his physical theatre training at the Accademia dell’ Arte in Arezzo, Italy. Along with Dan Wolf, he co-founded Bay Area Theatre Cypher, a collective of local hip-hop theatre artists. @phillywongsteak
