Nicole Helfer is delighted to return to San Francisco Playhouse where she recently choreographed and performed in Cabaret. Nicole is an award-winning choreographer, director, performing artist, and chair of the School of Theatre at Oakland School for the Arts. She has worked with such well-known Bay Area theatre companies as Broadway By The Bay, Center Rep, 42nd Street Moon, Ray of Light, The Mountain Play, Ross Valley Players, Contra Costa Musical Theatre, Throckmorton Theatre, Bay Area Children’s Theatre and Pacific Coast Reparatory Theatre. Notable choreography credits include Dames at Sea (TBA and SFBATCC nominee), The Music Man (TBA award nominee), West Side Story (TBA Award), and In the Heights (TBA Award), No No Nanette (TBA and SFBATCC Award nominee); Lizzie with Ray of Light (SFBATCC nominee). Performance credits include: Marian is The Music Man, Fantine in Les Miz (Shellie Award), Betty in Sunset Blvd (Shellie nominee), Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Shellie nominee), Cassie and Val in A Chorus Line, Velma Kelly in Chicago (SFBATCC nominee).
