For General Season auditions, please fill out THIS FORM to express your interest and reserve a slot! Additionally, please make sure to fill out your profile in our Actor Database if you haven’t done so previously. Video auditions are also welcome. Please submit the materials requested below.
Please note: San Francisco Playhouse does not offer housing or travel to non-AEA performers.
The deadline to request an audition is 3 days before the audition date (listed below). To request to be seen at multiple open calls, please fill out the audition form for each audition.
Pay Scale
AEA: (Mainstage) BAT Tier 5, $906/week minimum; (Second stage) BAT Tier 3, $651/week minimum
Non-AEA: $19.18/hour for all rehearsals and performances with weekly minimum

This is a dance call. Actors should plan to stay for 1 hour. Not everyone will be asked to sing.

Dance calls at 1PM, 1:45PM, 2:30PM, and 3:15PM. Vocal calls at 5PM, 5:30PM, 6PM, and 6:30PM.

What To Prepare
For all plays, please prepare a 60-90 second contemporary monologue. You may bring a second monologue instead of any songs if you do not wish to be considered for the musicals.
For all musicals, please prepare up to 60 seconds of a song in the style of the show. You may bring a second song instead of a monologue if you do not wish to be considered for the plays. Selections from the show(s) are strongly encouraged!
