David last performed on the San Francisco Playhouse stage as understudy for Voice 2 and Voice 4 in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, as part of the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle award-nominated ensemble. Recent roles include the 2nd Engineer, Secretary, and the ensemble in The Hairy Ape (Eugene O’Neill Festival, Danville and New Ross, Ireland), Leigh Teabing in The DaVinci Code (Palo Alto Players), Charles Babbage in Ada and The Engine (Pear Theatre), Hermocrate in The Triumph of Love (Shotgun Players), and Buster Keaton in the world premiere of Chaplin and Keaton on the Set of Limelight (Pear Theatre). A lifelong San Franciscan, David’s most recent musical performance was during the Carter administration, as a Sacred Heart High School sophomore at the old St. Rose Academy in Oklahoma! “For Lisa and Bob.
